Road Map Reading

I started map reading with young Cubs using the street maps provided in the local Yellow Pages directory (I had parents remove the section from their old directory at the beginning of the year, and bring it in). This was pretty informal, as I had several Cub who were still unable to read. That problem aside, basic map reading was never a difficult concept to grasp.

From Street Maps, I moved to Road Maps, using maps generously donated by the NRMA. This exercise provides an introduction the various features on the road maps available from the NRMA.
