Music Web Sites

We actually drew very little from the Web in the course of our music studies. Our main usage was simply to find background historical information in preparation for AMEB practical examinations, which invariably require the student to know something of the composer and relevant period in which the pieces being performed were written.

In recent years, I have also used various on-line music stores, such as Classics Online, to locate and download individual performances of the AMEB List pieces that look interesting, and certainly any that we plan to learn.
